Venezuela buys more arms, reveals U.S. nukes goals
Speaking to a huge rally of supporters earlier, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said he wants to buy more weapons to protect his country from invasion, the BBC reported.
“100,000 Kalashnikov assault rifles already on order from Russia were not enough,” Mr Chavez, wearing his trademark red army beret, told the rally, adding that Venezuela needs a million well-armed men and women.
"Venezuela needs to have one million well-equipped and well-armed men and women."
